SUMMARY:IWD 2022 - Women who invest (Part 1)
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to keep up the tradition and hold our International Women’s Day lunch event in 2022. This year\, we will hold it in 2 parts. The first part will take place virtually on March 8 at 12pm and the other part will take place in person at the end of the month (date to be confirmed). \nThe theme for this year’s event is Women who invest \nAs has now become tradition\, Barbara Stewart will release the new edition of her research on March 8. She won’t be in Stockholm on that date and we will have the opportunity to listen to her and ask questions virtually. This year\, her 12th global study in the Rich Thinking® series is entitled “Smart women: How do they make money?” \nDuring 2021 Barbara conducted 53 interviews with women around the world in diverse professions. Her question this year? How do you make money\, and what’s your personal business model? \nThere were five clear groupings of how women make their money and eight categories of personal business models. Personal business models are personal: How we develop our mindsets\, our strategies\, and our philosophies around work and money-making evolves over time as we evolve. Barbara will share a few inspiring approaches to money-making! \nThis year’s virtual event will be made available for people outside the network as well! And therefore\, we will also provide a short overview of KvinnoKapital\, what we are about\, why we exist and who we are. \nProgramme\n12:00 – Welcome & Presentation of KvinnoKapital12:15 – Q&A12:20 – Presentation “Smart women: How do they make money?”12:40 – Q&A12:55 – Concluding remarks \nAbout your speaker\nBarbara is a keynote speaker for CFA Societies\, banks and stock exchanges around the world\, and conducts interview driven research for financial institutions in Canada and globally. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst with 30 years of investment industry experience; five years as a foreign currency trader and then more than two decades as a portfolio manager investing on behalf of high net worth entrepreneurs. 12 years ago Barbara saw a need to challenge outdated financial industry stereotypes and share positive messages about women and money. Today\, Barbara is recognized worldwide as one of the leading researchers in women and finance. Her Rich Thinking® global research papers quote smart women from all ages\, professions and countries and are released annually on International Women’s Day\, March 8.  Barbara is a columnist for CFA Institute\, Canadian Money Saver\, and Golden Girl Finance.
