This year’s CFA Society Sweden Women in Finance event will take place underground. Kvinnokapital members are invited to join this exclusive event down in a mine to get enlightened and inspired on the topic of gender diversity in male dominated industries.

The event will take place 20 meters underground in a mine opened in 1938 by Atlas Diesel (now Atlas Copco and Epiroc) in Nacka, close to Stockholm. Since 2012 this part of the mine is open to the public on special occasions while the mine continues to be used for testing of equipment and rock-drilling tools by Epiroc and Altas Copco.

The mine is surprisingly close to the centre, a 9-minute bus ride (number 401 towards Älta) from Slussen (stop: Sickla allé).
